Description: A strong disinfectant with a clear and penetrating sweet scent. Excellent infection fighter and aid in strengthening the immune system. Has pain-relieving properties which makes it a popular ingredient in pharmaceutical preparations. Useful in combating respiratory problems such as chest infections, bronchitis, tuberculosis, influenze, pneumonia, whooping cough, asthma, sinusitis and laryngitis. Said to have saved the lives of many of the crew during Captain Cook’s voyage to Australia in 1788.

The essential oil contains valeric, terpineol, cineole, limonene and pinene, among others.
