Helichrysum gymnocephalum
From Madagascar we have Helichrysum gymnocephalum. This species is rich in 1,8 cineole (also known as eucalyptol), which provides deep healing for the respiratory system. The aroma is strong, fresh, camphorous and penetrating-much like Eucalyptus. The esssential oil is stimulating and energizing while it promotes overall respiratory health, especially for colds, flu, bronchitis, congestion, headaches and other respiratory applications.
