Description: Sacred by the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians, the plant has been used in ritual cleansing and regenerative healing from the earliest times. Rosemary's scent is fresh, spicy and penetrating. Various plants have different chemical compositions depending on where the plants grow and altitude.  There are 3 main chemotypes of Rosemary – cineole (most common), camphor (borneol) and verbenone. 

Rosemary ct verbenone is used in a variety skin care products for dry skin.  Beneficial for respiratory issues, digestive issues, liver and gall bladder support.   Stimulating and regenerative.  The essential oil is steam-distilled from the flowering tops and leaves and produces a clear to pale yellow essential oil.  The essential oil main chemical components are: alpha-Pinene (19.49%), Camphor (16.11%), Verbenone (9.89%), Bornyl acetate (8%), among others.
